What The Fudge? The Pumpkin Edition

Standard

It’s Fall and the Holidays are slowly creeping up on us. I love the change in seasons as much as the next person. However, one aspect has gone too far.

PUMPKIN.

Yes, you heard me, pumpkin. What is up with the pumpkin obsession? Now I can get with Starbucks. That Pumpkin Muffin is deliciously decadent. I have never had a Pumpkin Spice Latte, but I know people that are straight stans for it. I am sure it’s delicioso.

But some foods are simply not meant to be pumpkinized. Pumpkin oatmeal? Pumpkin Yogurt? Pumpkin Hot chocolate….eeeeewwwwww!

Sometimes we take a good thing and go too damn far. People are just adding pumpkin to things so you poor gullible souls will purchase it. As a foodie, I am outraged by this affront to pumpkinry.

Cut it out retailers. Stop trying to get over on the consumers. We are not buying your nasty pumpkin concoctions. Remember, If it was that good, we would eat it all year round.

Carry on.

  1. Watch yo back. The great pumpkin has people… #Youvebeenwarned. LOL But pumpkin every dog on thang is not the bisness. Except for pumpkin head costumes. I think it looks funny.

  2. YOU LIE!!! PUMPKIN IS EVERYTHING & I DO EAT IT YEAR ROUND!!!!! Pumpkin Spice Latte?? MMMMMMMM. I even made some of that delicious pumpkin oatmeal a few weeks ago! I like pumpkin better than sweet potato in everything but pie. Pumpkin pie is sacrilege and it tastes wrong. I’m currently deciding between 2 pumpkin desserts for Thanksgiving SO THERE!

  3. Godiva has some really nice ground pumpkin coffee. I drink my coffee black and I drink half a pot every morning. It’s wonderful.
