Tali 1 is in 3rd grade. Third grade. I can’t believe how big my baby has grown. He is a young man now. See?
I don’t care what a certain someone who reads this blog says….Nic.ki.Min.aj is NOT the hotness. That song Mon.ster is hands down, one of the worst things on the radio right now.
I have to turn something in to my boss at 6pm and I am procrastinating like a MUG.
Is anyone else mad that the summer of iced coffee for 99 cents is over? Say it ain’t so Dunkin.
Why did your boy Tali 2 (who starts Kindergarten next Wednesday) have a complete and utter meltdown in the schoolyard while we dropped his brother off for his first day of school. “I wanna go to school with Tali 1. I don’t wanna go to school in five more days.” He cried all the way back home. *sigh*
Speaking of crying, soccer starts up officially this Saturday. Let’s see if he has matured since last year when he cried at EVERY SINGLE GAME except the last one. *sigh*
And also related to crying…. he did his THING on this song.
I woke up to a cool 64 degrees and visions of new boots, sweaters and coats filled my head. That being said….to the lady I saw downtown in the Fur vest and boots today…it’s too early Sunshine.
I have been on an 80′s music kick for the last couple of days. Wham, Tears for Fears, Terrence Trent D’Arby, Culture Club….you name it. Who are some of your 80′s favorites?
I must thank Tom and Lorenzo for my new tagline for 2011 “Your jealousy tastes like candy bytches.” Hilarity!!!
I love Miss Willow Smith and her new little song. Growing up with parents that are both entertainers, clearly they have the bug to perform. Kudos to Jaden for a great job in Karate Kid and now to Willow for her cute and catchy (and YES, age appropriate) song. I wish her much success and I too will be “Whipping My Hair”.
I am back in full time Wonder Woman mode. Back to school, back to soccer, back to all of the kids other activities……….I dread this time of year. *Dusts off cape*
and finally….who remembers THIS?

The best part of fall and winter is NOT football, not the holidays and turkey, and it is not the back-breaking show snoveling going on around these parts. It is, without question, women breaking out the new boots collection. If there is anything better than a fine, shapely woman in a pair of fiyah azz boots, it’s probably illegal in 48 of the 50 states.
Now that I got THAT out of my systems, let me leave you with this:
My rap wife KILLED that whole “Monster” track with a verse tighter than Jay-Z’s and fuxin close to Yeezy’s!
and oh…. PEE WEE’S PLAYHOUSE! I’m made you did Fish like that, bringin’ up ol’ ish. LOL
Hey, if we have to deal with Montana….I can bring up old ish. I love me some Pee Wee’s Playhouse!
Your rap wife is horrendous. The remix is better than the version on her album cause that is straight SANITATION. And I agree….boots are the best!
First things first. I wholeheartedly agree with fornot on the boots thing! 100%. Fall fashion for the ladies is way better than the jeans and tshirt and flip flop summers (although I do realize you need those).
Second best thing about the fall – all of those ugly ass feet go into hibernation.
Third best thing about the fall – it’s my break from being super dad. Track season is over. I get a few months break before winter starts with these weekend practices!
Speaking of 80′s – you know what I feel like watching? Breakfast Club.
I’ll take Willow “whipping her hair” over 95% of the songs on the radio.
Nicki Minaj —well I’ll just say the old Nicki Minaj before the Barbie Butt Injections was WAAAY better than what she has out now.
I love summer!!!! Im a Leo! The Fall, only good for boots and sweaters. Not that snow, hopefully we Philly won’t get hit with snow every week like last winter. Glad your son is in third grade!!! Time flies for real, my son just started 4th grade.
Aww, Tali 1 is such a handsome young man. He’s growing so fast! (And so is Tali 2!)
Thanks for the link to that Eric Benet song. Niiiiiice.
80s music goes so well with the fall…I guess b/c I love them both!
The thing about Fall and Winter is that jeans don’t hide a lot…so it’s even more important to be in shape. No more “messin’ around” with dessert. LOL (In Cali, we can’t hide it with a big coat. It’s never that cold… ) I like to rock a tight sweater, nice fitting low rise jeans, and some killer boots. And NO muffic top, ever. Age is no excuse in my crowd. (That’s why they’re my crowd!)
Forgot to mention… I love Miss Willow and her song. So darned cute!
