The Randomness

I could get used to staying home. But then I might get bored….*sigh*

I love getting to workout every single morning without having to rush off anywhere. Is that totally selfish? Yup, it is and I don’t care.

I love taking walks with Tali 1. He is a big boy now and I enjoy our conversations. I never imagined I would have a kid. Not a baby….an actual kid. It blows my mind.

His favorite place to have lunch (apart from Sushi) is Cosi. Can I just tell you that if you haven’t tried their Tomato Basil soup, you need to. That soup is the truth with a nice side salad and a piece of their whole wheat oven baked bread. GOODNESS!

Now that the interview stress is gone, I realize how bad I let that situation affect me. Never again.

I am very proud of my friends who are setting out to conquer their goals.

I truly love my mother. I spoke to her on Sunday and she said exactly what I needed to hear. When she does that, it amazes me. She says the same things that other people say but when you hear it from your mom, you believe it.

Tali 2 is the cutest kid on the planet. He crosses his legs and says he is doing “yogurt meditation”. *blink*

Thursday will be spent power shopping looking for new sneakers for Tali 1 and new shoes for school. (Somewhere along there, I will be buying some new stuff for me too.)

I have already made a list of necessities for Fall.

Thanksgiving is looming and I am already gathering recipes.

My BFF called me last night to say she is attempting to make my shrimp and grits recipe. Then she says “Can I make it with pasta instead of grits?” Uh, hello…that’s shrimp and pasta then…you need another recipe? LMAO!

There’s been a lot of deaths this summer. MJ, Ted Kennedy, DJ, AM, Walter Cronkite, Dominique Dunne, Farrah Fawcett and blogger Nikki Harris (Rest in Peace Nikki). Please take care of your selves people. We only get one go around and one body.
