As I expected, I walked into utter chaos back in the office today. No time for blog hopping.
Let me share a few things running through my head.
The MJ funeral was extremely classy and a perfect mix of reflection and celebration. My heart goes out to his family, especially his mother and his children.
The Steve McNair situation….wow just wow. While details are still spilling out and we are not sure if this young lady was indeed the shooter, let me just say this. When you start a relationship with someone, recognize that individuals have feelings and some people can only be lied to or pushed so far before they snap. Be totally up front with your stuff. If that person is strictly physical…tell them that. Stop LYING and playing house with people that you do not plan on having a future with. Be honest. I am so hoping his wife and children didn’t have to learn about this woman like we all did. *sigh*
And yeah, yeah…here is a Maxwell interview for those of you that care. Not to mention, that cd is sold out EVERYWHERE. My girlfriend and I went walking last night and afterwards she wanted to swing by Target and get the cd….she was informed that they had sold out by 11am that day. LMAO! All over Facebook, people are saying the cd was sold out in their state. Love it!!! If you don’t have it, I am recommending it highly. Every song is perfection and when is the last time you bought a cd that you could just hit play on and walk away? If you have it…please know that he probably was dreaming of me when he wrote “Stop the World”……. don’t hate. Seriously, it’s HOT.
Lastly, my Mets absolutely SUCK. There, I said it.

MJ’s memorial was the perfect send off.
Steve McNair… sigh. I’ve heard reports that when they finally moved her body, she was laying on top of the gun. Also it seems like she ambushed him since he was found on the sofa. I agree, people need to stop playing with other’s emotions.

And stop playing with babies! As fast and experienced as some of these 20 year old girls try (pretend) to be, 20 years olds are just PUPS in this game of life. It’s deep waters out here and most of them don’t even know how to float!

man I’m saddened by his death but yes his wife and children found out about it the same way we did THROUGH THE MEDIA… even worse.. he frequented that spot with his family and she was their waitress.. Folks must learn they can’t play with ppl’s feelings period.. I am praying for his fam..

I don’t know why I’m fixated on this McNair situation-it’s just so sad. His wife is probably physically ill from all of this and imagine how his sons will be scarred. I know men cheat, I get that, but I guess the thing that bothers me is wondering how this could have been prevented since these athletes seem to be a danger to themselves, blinded and addicted to the adoration they get on and off the field, and surrounded by people who will never question their behavior. I’m sure his buddies that found him dead knew all about this other woman, but never imagined it would end up this way.

I went to get my CD and SOLD OUT at 11 a.m. at Target. I almost stepped foot in Walmart but could not bring myself to go there. Oh well, downloaded on iTunes and ordered it on Amazon so it’ll be here soon enough. It is absolutely a masterpiece. The McNair situation, good grief. His poor wife and kids. I wonder how much his wife knew. And what is up with these people in your neck of the woods kicking the black kids outta the pool?

It was hard to tear myself away from the MJ Memorial, in order to get over to Best Buy before noon. But, I did. Got my Maxwell CD/DVD, and I was happy.
I love the DVD…..My favorite song is LOVE YOU. It grabbed me right away.
The whole CD is so good…..but then again, with only 8 songs (plus 1 instrumental), there had better not be any bad cuts. lol

Yes, Maxwell’s CD was sold out couple of weeks ago. I even had a problem tracking a copy down. But by the end of the week I had a copy. Had to travel all the way to the next 2 counties up which landed me in another state! But I got mine and have been jammin’ since.
