Sunday is Father’s Day and now more than ever, we need to celebrate and pay tribute to the men that are out there being role models to a child. You may be a big brother, an uncle, a great cousin, a family friend. You may have stepped in and started taking care of another man’s child. You may volunteer to play basketball with a group of kids. You may lookout for that kid in your neighborhood who doesn’t have a dad.
Like , Mr. 1969…you may be one of the one’s that were there for each and every milestone from your child’s birth, midnight feedings, through coughs, colds and fevers, soccer games, dance recitals, math homework and to kiss all the boo boos when they fell down and then told them to get back up and keep going.
On Sunday, we celebrate all of the wonderful men out there who don’t get celebrated enough. We love you and appreciate you for leading by example and for all the love you show to our kids. We also celebrate all of the mommies that are doing both jobs and raising kids to the best of their abilities on their own.
