You will all be happy to know that Tali 2 was victorious and beat Mekhi in the canned food drive. LOL. His prize? He gets to pick from the sacred bowl of toys reserved for only the GREATEST CHILDREN EVER and a bag of candy. *crickets* (Uh, looky here, I know I could have taken the kid to Fiv.e Bel.ow and cleaned up on cheap toys and candy. But the point is …..he WON. Can you say “bragging rights”?)
Speaking of Fi.ve Bel.ow…..my mom bought the Lea.pster handheld video game for the boys. The game cartridges are anywhere from $20-$25 in most stores. Why does Fi.ve Be.low have them for $5? I have bought them every single one they carried. FYI for you Holiday shoppers on a budget.
My sorority’s largest fundraiser, Philly’s Men Are Cookin is this Saturday in Philly. If you are in town and want to attend, holla at your girl in the comments. 200 Men cooking can’t be beat. There is a man that makes the best pumpkin cheesecake and sweet potato pound cake EVER. That’s all I can think about right now.
