I just conquered one of my water related fears when I went jet skiiing in Miami. Up until then, my water experience had been limited to pools and bathrooms. The thought of being out in the middle of the ocean with no bottom in sight kept me on dry land for 30 years. Now, I can't wait to get back out there. Glad your son faced his fears. I always thought that if the lady teaching the class let go of my when I was floating, I would sink.
