What’s your biggest fear in life or do you have one? My biggest fear is any harm coming to my children.

Where do you see yourself in the next 5/6 years? In my next home. As a Director of Sales & Marketing for my own hotel. Still married. Maybe a vegetarian?

Have any government officials or Rich folks done anything at your hotel that you would be willing to let me blackmail them with? Hell, if I had some Spit.zer type dirt, I would have blackmailed them myself. I will keep you informed should something go down that we could erra…benefit from.

Did you and Mr. 1969 plan to have children or did you just “get pregnant” each time? One baby shower or a shower for both births? And how did you come up with names for two boys (not sure if one is named after his father)?     We planned both births. You know me, I am a planner I had one babyshower with Tali 1. With the 2nd Tali, my best friends threw a luncheon for me and it was wonderful. Neither of the boys are named after Mr. 1969. We both agreed that we wanted them to have their own legacy. My Grandmother’s maiden name is Tali 1’s first name, his middle name is my Grandfather’s name (he passed away right before his birth).  Tali 2 just has a name we liked.

When u makin cupcakes again? Probably today! I’m working from home.

How long have you been a runner? I am still in transistion (walk, jog, walk) phase and am kind of stuck. Any tips? I am soooo far from calling myself a runner. About a year ago, I decided that I was going to teach myself how to run. I started out doing the run/walk combo and I have worked my way up. The key is to just do it. It really is mind over matter. One day, stop walking and just jog until you can’t jog anymore. Every week, add some more distance. If you stay at it, you will get there. And set your own pace!

Are you ready for your 5K? Have you been consistent in your training? My first 5K will be on May 11th (Mother’s Day). I am running in the Race for the Cure. I walked it last year and watched four of my sorors run it. I decided that I was going to run a 5K before my 40th birthday. I will be 39 this July and I plan on making it happen. I slacked off on training all winter but I started getting serious again in March. I am finally at a point where I am confident I can run the race. Thanks for all of your help BK!

If you could go back to one day while you were at Tech.. what day and why? I would do all 4 years at Tech all over again. I have so many memories. Hanging out with Crystal. The cafeteria. The teachers. The endless spades games and jokes. I would probably go back to the day Chris and I exchanged shirts in homeroom….long story. That’s the day he won me over for life. I would go back, just to see him one last time.

Ideas for an 8 year old party? I would let him pick 8 of his friends. Take them all out to the movies or to an arcade (have the parents meet you at the movies) and then take them out for pizza or ice cream. Have the parents pick them up at the restaurant and take em home. Low maintenance, no cleaning!

How about hair stuff? What kinds of moisturizers do you use for your hair?? What do you do with your hair while you are sleeping??Gee…I am so low maintenance with my hair. (Roycee, OneFromPhilly and SIP…be quiet!). I currently use Frede.rick Fe.kkai shampoo and conditioner from Sephora but will rotate any shampoo from Pan.tene to Infu.sium. My hair is naturally curly. I highly recommend Cur.ls Ro.ck by Tigi to achieve maximum curl status without frizz. Sleeping? Hair goes up in a scrunchie and I call it a day.

When are you sending us Tali 2? Uh….you gonna be home today?

How do you keep your life balanced between Mr. 1969, the Talis, work and all your other activities? Also, do you have any quick meal recipes? Mr. 1969 is a huge part of my success. He is a great Dad. I couldn’t be who I am without his support. He gets the kids off to school every morning and picks them up every afternoon. I love to cook…he loves to clean. We balance each other when we need help. If he has a meeting? I take over and handle things and vice versa. He is in a fraternity so he gets the importance of all my crazy sorority meetings and projects. what do you think about oprah, tyra. I think they are both dynamic women. Oprah has turned her humble beginnings into a powerful brand/conglomerate. I applaud her for her vision and her willingness to put her money where her mouth is. I applaud Tyra too. She is building her empire and I ain’t mad at her. Her show is just not my cup of tea. Too extra.

How often should one shower? For me? Everyday. It’s how I wake up every morning. Plus I work out daily (or try to)…I need to be clean and refreshed.

What’s one piece of advice would you give to single women who say there are no good men out there? To work on themselves and make sure their house is in order before they get involved with anyone.

What’s one piece of advice you would give to a man in regards to helping maintain a relationship with his woman? Women are impressed with a man that pays attention to the small details in her life. If she mentioned that she liked a certain book or song and you can recall that later on or suprise her with it? You’re in. If you went with her to Starb.ucks once and you heard her order some concoction and then one day you just order it for her? Nice. Pay attention guys….we eat that mess up! Reminds her that she’s important to you.

If given the chance to run a hotel back home (Trinidad right?) would you do it? It would depend on how old my kids are but YES.

When are you coming to Michigan so we can hang out uber-fabulously ? I would come to Michigan to hang out with you Miss Robyn.  Our boys would have a blast and we could wear our best Now and Later Gators and matching suits What it do playa?
