According to published reports, Mr. Sh.a.wn C.ar.ter and Ms. Be.yon.ce Kn.owles are set to marry today. These rumors have run rampant many times in the six years since they started dating. However, speculation is high that April 4th, will indeed be the day.

If they are tying the knot, I wish them much happiness. While I really could care less about most celebrity couples, I must admit….I like Jay and Bey. For one thing, they keep their relationship private. Yes, you see pictures of them on yachts, at basketball games, etc….but they don’t really share all of their intimate details in the press.

They also dated. Yes, dated. For six years. They got to know each other. They spent time with each other. That’s called courting. Go.ogle it sometime.

They would start this union child free. Yes there is speculation about Jay having a love child somewhere in my homeland….but he and Bey have not produced any lil baby Z’s since they’ve been together. That must be a record in the Hip-Hop arena.

They have both worked hard and built careers far beyond music. They are both bringing something to the table. They complement each other as far as entrepreneurship, drive and work ethic. Imagine what they will build together?

In short, if these two crazy kids want to get married….I am happy for them. Besides, Jay is ultimately a kid from Brooklyn, just like me. He has built an empire coming straight out of Marcy projects. He is one of my favorite rappers and an all around good guy.
