Now I am a Giant’s fan living in Philly. I know ALL about ignorant, rude and obnoxious fans but this……this was extra. And I heard the fans in Chicago were telling the Saints fans to “go home and wait for their FEMA checks” and “get back to your trailers”. Nice.
I know my brown people in Chitown didn’t act like this…..but overall….I’m pulling for Tony Dungy in the Soul Bowl. As MAMA 1969 always says….GOD don’t like UGLY.

I have a more shallow reason to root for the Colts. I like that Dungy’s wife is black. I know it shouldn’t matter, but I am rooting for him.

Now don’t let a couple of dumb a** people put a bitter taste in your mouth about Chicago….yeah that’s been talked about heavily on my Chicago sportsfan message board and we all to a man said that was very tasteless….I hate to bring race into it, But I’m 99% certain that you’ll would never see a black person at any game with a sign like that…matter fact, I don’t hardly see us at a game making signs anyways..
These are the same people that are calling talk shows saying “Will they please stop talking about there being 2 black coaches”….It ticks me off BUT it won’t deter me from rooting for the TEAM….those ignorant fans aren’t representing the TEAM.

I’m rooting for Tony Dungy because he has paved the way for Lovie, Herm and the Steeler’s new head coach (can’t think of his name). They were all his assistants at various times! Tony deserves this one.
Oh my goodness, I had no idea folks were saying this in Chicago. I’m from there, but please don’t think all Chicagoans are like that. Anyway, I’m rooting for the Colts too, even though I’m from Chicago because I absolutely love Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning. Dungy and Manning have been through so much, and I believe they deserve a ring.
I was rooting for the Colts just on the simple fact that I think they are a better team (sorry Rob Mack), but seeing that gives me even more reason to root for them.
I live in New York. I’ve been to Yankee-Red Sox games. I’ve been to Knicks games where fans heckle the home team just as bad as the visitors. I can honest say that I haven’t heard anything as insensitive as what that guy had on that sign.
Damn the first amendment, that sign should not have been allowed in the stadium.

as a die hard raiders fan who wasn’t even able to enjoy the season due to the raiders poor performance i must say that i know about unruly fans…we have our fair share of them.
although i think urlacher is the truth, i’m for Dungy because after losing his son last year, coming so close but not getting to the super bowl and following up this season with a stellar team i just wanna see him win!
